Job Description Sanmina is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to support and improve assembly lines, ensuring design for manufacturability and quality. Responsibilities Review technical specifications and assembly drawings, identifying dimensional conflicts and potential improvements. Analyze assembly lines and flows for efficiency, failure points, and potential DFM issues. Generate DFM reports and discuss findings with customers. Conduct tolerance analysis on drawings and generate corrective actions. Qualifications Education: Electronics Technician, Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (graduated or incomplete). Experience: 5‑10 years in mechanical design within manufacturing, with knowledge of Y14.5 and ASME standards. Technical skills: SolidWorks or CATIA, Office suite, ability to design mechanical and electronic assemblies, integration line balancing, fixture design, flowchart management. Knowledge: English intermediate, design for manufacturability, process integration, customer requirements analysis, fault detection, ergonomic design.
