Sr. Specialist, Integrated Planning

**Date**:Jul 10, 2025**Location**: Obispado, NLE, MX, 64060**Company**:Corning**About the Role**:Corning is seeking a Sr. Specialist for our Global Supply Chain Integrated Planning team. We are looking for a visionary professional with planning expertise to develop, create, and implement detailed planning standards and work processes throughout our business operations.In the first 9 to 18 months, you will collaborate with internal partners to design and establish Corning's Integrated Planning Standards. This role involves supporting the integration of planning tools under one ERP system and assisting in the development of standardized processes and SOPs. Your contribution will drive efficiency and productivity across business units.After 9-18 your role will evolve into a core planning operation position. You will act as a crucial link between customers and manufacturing sites, managing inventory levels and coordinating with various departments. Your goal will be to optimize supply chain operations and meet customer demand while minimizing costs.**Required Qualifications**:- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, or related Business field- Master’s degree and professional certification e.g., APICS, CSCP- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain planning, production planning, material requirement planning with process development and implementation- Proficiency in ERP and supply chain planning software (e.g., SAP)- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills proven by key planning parameters improvements.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and demands.**Desired** **Qualifications**:- Exposure and experience with advanced supply planning processes: SIOP, demand planning,- Hands on experience with advanced planning systems (o9, Kinaxis,)**Key Responsibilities**:- Design, develop, and implement supply chain planning work processes.- Develop and deliver training to supply planning end users on key planning concepts and processes.- Develop short term production schedules aligning with demand forecasts and inventory policies.- Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, and warehouse teams.- Monitor and manage inventory levels and trends.- Implement inventory control policies and procedures.- Plan transportation and distribution of products.- Track key performance indicators (KPIs), conduct root cause analysis and present findings to senior management.- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the supply chain.Corning Puts YOU FirstWe are committed to supporting your health, financial, career development, and life goals as you grow professionally and personally to achieve your highest potential.
