Associate Engineer, Data Mgmt

**The**Opportunity**:The Data Management & Analytics Associate Engineer works independently under close supervision, responsible for running master data harmonized global processes, ensuring high quality of data within the global standards, and offering data management expertise to all functional areas.**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**:- ** Education**: High school diploma or GED required- ** Experience**: Advanced to expert-level experience in Microsoft Excel- Previous experience in a corporate/multinational environment a must (min. 3y, nice to have 3-5y)- Logical thinking and ability to analyze, standardize, and improve fragmented processes- Must be able to communicate in English and Spanish B2 (Verbal and Written), B2 Required Good communication and team spirit in an international company- Independent thinker- Advanced user-knowledge of SAP- Functional SAP knowledge in SAP modules MM and SD/SCM- Affinity with large data sets and analytics- Show initiative and ownership to run projects, improvements, and transitions on global processes- ** Preferred Qualifications**:A bachelor’s degree is a plus.- 1 year experience in Master Data a plus- Prefer the ability to communicate in English and Spanish C1 (Verbal and Written)**HOW YOU WILL THRIVE AND CREATE AN IMPACT**:- Runs Master Data services to internal/external customers- Delivers Master Data support to the Category Managers and Sourcing Managers- Maintain high level of data accuracy and consistency for Product Master Data- Maintains the Supplier Data Base up to date and consistent with SAP data- Supports the PRP Process:- close cooperation with Sourcing during the PRP Preparation- close cooperation with the technical team by checking the quality of the received files- close follow-up of missing prices during the technical review process- Supports projects and process changes- Analyzes data and finds the root cause of issues- Proactively identifies risks and countermeasures- Defines requirements and test cases and executes testing in SAP- Aligns with business partners- Manages collaboration with functional areas and technical team- Might work globally (different time zones)- Identifies core issues and resolutions- Participation in SAP implementation and improvement projects- Team player within the VWR organization and specifically within the Master Data team and its Stakeholders.**Disclaimer**:The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification.
