When you add that to the challenges we take on and solve together, you’ll discover that at HARMAN you can grow, make a difference and be proud of the work you do every day.Position Summary:Supervisory Responsibilities:Customs & Logistics processJob Responsibilities:- Coordinate and manage shipment air, ground and sea.- Coordinate and manage Expedited shipment as Hand Carry and Charters- Quote expedited shipments- Follow the deadlines and delivery schedules in the shipments.- Coordinate and manage shipments by FEDEX, UPS and DHL (parcel and heavyweight)- Knowledge and managing 4PLs (Control Tower)- Look for new strategies to optimize resources and cost in the logistics process.- Experience in Customs clearance process- Elaborates Daily, Weekly, Monthly reports- Elaborates KPIs- Identify operations standard and the premium freight.- Complying with the customs and logistics formalities that exist.Basic Qualifications:- 3 years of experience in Logistics or customs department- Knowledge in the law and regulations in International Trade, Incoterms, and transportation modes.- Logistics routes,- Deal with customs brokers- Deal with carriers and forwarders- Knowledge the mode of shipments LCL, FCL, LTL, FTL.- Knowledge in CTPAT and OEA programs- Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency of labor.- Analysis capacity,- Knowledge the Maquila program- English 80%,- Office programsPreferred Qualifications:- Leadership.- Self directed- Change Orientation.- Collaboration.- Judgment.- Result Driven.- Initiative to improve and develop.- Problem Solving skills.HARMAN is an Equal Opportunity /Affirmative Action employer.
