.Architect & Engineering (A&E) BDM page is loaded## Architect & Engineering (A&E) BDMremote type: Hybridlocations: Mexico - Mexico Citytime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todaytime left to apply: End Date: February 28, 2026 (30+ days left to apply)job requisition id: R- ## **Job Title**Architect & Engineering (A&E) BDM## Job Description**Summary**Axis’ Solutions & Services organization is seeking an A&E Regional Manager to join our growing team in the Americas.The purpose of this role is to build and manage relationships between the professional consultants, architects, and engineers who specify products for inclusion into their design of security systems.**Responsibilities*** Build strong relationships and collaborate with A&E firms through meetings, events, training, etc.* Cultivate and manage business relationships with the A&E Program members* Serve as a technical liaison between Axis Communications and the A&E Program members* Consistently create opportunities for the program’s growth through business relationship management documented properly in Salesforce.* Provide guidance, oversight, and training to Field Sales Engineers, Regional Sales Managers, and other regional stakeholders on A&E best practices and Axis's A&E program initiatives* Track and collaborate with the sales team on security project opportunities through Salesforce* Leverage Axis and 3rd-party tools to increase Axis mindshare and specification of security projects within the A&E community* Work with prioritized Technology Integration Partner (TIP) program members to educate the A&E community on the benefits of best of breed solutions* Assist the A&E Program Manager and Marketing Manager with the planning and implementation of annual A&E Technology Summit* Run events and seminars to recruit new consultants and educate them on Axis’ solutions and tools.* Make Axis the preferred vendor for consultants* Develop weekly and quarterly reports* Perform other related duties as assigned* Collaborate with Marketing on demand generation strategies, activities and events, including trade show participation**Essential Skills*** Comprehensive understanding of all facets of the physical electronic security industry.* Understanding and have connection properly stablish of the construction and architecture industries, design processes, and the role of A&E firms.* Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills to effectively engage with A&E firms, build rapport, and maintain strong working relationships.* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information clearly during training sessions, presentations, and meetings with A&E firms.* Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to identify opportunities, overcome challenges, and develop strategies to increase Axis specifications.* Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce for opportunity tracking and reporting.* Strong organizational and time management skills to plan travel, events, and training sessions effectively.* Collaborative mindset to work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, product specialists) and external partners.* Public speaking and presentation skills to deliver engaging training sessions and thought leadership content.* Self-motivation and a proactive approach.**Experience Required*** 5-10 years past experience in the following: + Security integration and security consulting + Hardware installation and technical sales experience + System design and application* 2 -5 years working directly with the A&E companies and consultants in a similar role.**Physical Demands**The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
