**Summary**The Additive Manufacturing Programmer II will design and implement the software directives instructing SLM machines to shape parts.**Qualification Requirements**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required. The individual will need to work 6:30 am - 4:00pm.**Minimum Qualifications**- 1-2 years of hands-on experience with CAD/CAM and 3D modeling software, Siemens NX/Solidworks preferred.- Experience programming or operating 3D printers; SLM/DMLS preferred.- Experience with CAD software, CAM systems, and additive manufacturing software packages (e.g., Add Up Manager, Materialize Magics, 3D Systems 3D Sprint) are preferred.- Associate's degree in Machine Tool Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field preferred.- Fluent and have the ability to read and write in English.**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**- Advanced understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles.- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.- Strong problem-solving skills with proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex programming issues independently.- Proficiency in utilizing precision measurement tools and ability to develop detailed inspection protocols.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with capacity to optimize manufacturing processes.- Ability to navigate and maintain complex procedures.**Supervisory Responsibilities**None**Essential Functions**- Prepare files for printing in NX/Solidworks.
