Resolves or coordinates the resolution of complex technical issues on the assembly line and in the manufacturing process. Leads technical design, development, and process equipment testing for assigned products. Assists in the preparation of proposals on products for customers. Establishes processes to eliminate defects. Provides continuous improvement to manufacturing process and product designs. Job Description El Sr. Manufacturing Engineer / Tool Crib Administrator tiene como principal misión gestionar y optimizar la administración de las herramientas de corte. Sus Responsabilidades Se Centran En Resolución de Problemas: Solucionar los problemas de funcionamiento, operación y calidad que impactan al producto, derivados directamente del desempeño de las herramientas de corte. Productividad y Rentabilidad: Implementar mejoras continuas que impulsen la productividad, contribuyendo de manera directa a la rentabilidad de nuestra Planta en Silao, Guanajuato, México. Actividades a Cargo Proponer y ejecutar acciones para maximizar el rendimiento de procesos de maquinados: Tornos, CNC, Brochadoras, etc. Participar en el desarrollo de las hojas de proceso, error proofing e instrucciones de trabajo aplicables al área de herramientas y asignadas. Monitorear el gasto y afectaciones de OEE/FTQ por herramientas de corte de cada línea de maquinado para establecer los planes de acción en conjunto con los grupos de mejora continua correspondientes. Participar activamente en reducción de CPU de herramientas. Desarrollar proyectos de ahorros relacionados con herramienta de corte y tooling en general, estos deben ser documentados para aprobación de la corporación. Desarrollar e implementar entrenamiento para “job setter” de tool crib. Desarrollo y diseño de nuevos conceptos de herramientas de corte. Mantener y mejorar documentación relacionada al setup de herramienta. Asegurar el cumplimiento de los procedimientos definidos para el área. Asegurar el suministro de herramientas preajustadas para líneas de maquinado. Conocimientos de AMEF. Participar en la adquisición de nuevas tecnologías, equipos y procesos para lograr una mayor eficiencia de las herramientas de corte. Conocimiento de programas para la adquisición de datos, estudios estadísticos para hacer más eficientes las tomas de decisiones (Como Excel minitab, power bi, etc). Proveer soporte a Manufactura incluyendo fines de semana y/o días festivos. Manejo de proveedores de herramienta. Administración de rol de asociados “hourly” para mantener el soporte alineado a los requerimientos de manufactura. Asegurar la correcta repartición de responsabilidades del equipo técnico del “tool crib”. Asegurar que las herramientas de corte son requeridas en tiempo y con los inventarios adecuados. Asegurar adecuado de almacenaje, distribución y disposición de las herramientas de corte. Required Skills And Education Ingeniero mecánico, electromecánico, mecatrónico o afín con experiencia mínima de 5 años desempeñando un puesto similar en la industria automotriz. Habilidades y Conocimientos Clave Maquinados: Manejo de procesos de maquinado. Análisis y Solución de Problemas:ólido conocimiento en metodologías de análisis y solución de problemas. Normativa y Calidad: Dominio de GD&T (Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Conocimiento general de las herramientas Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA). Mejora Continua: Experiencia en el mejoramiento y optimización de indicadores clave. Liderazgo: Experiencia requerida en la administración y gestión de personal (supervisión de equipos).
