A Day in Your Life at MKS:As a Jr. Material Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective management of our inventory levels. This unique position will see you working closely with the Master Scheduler to implement time-saving strategies and oversee our supplies, making a significant impact on our operations.You Will Make an Impact by:- Collecting data from multiple sources, including MRP, regional planner, sales, and marketing.- Create and maintain a master part number list.- Material maintenance in MRP systems.- Weekly Reporting- Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials & maintain Inventory by suggesting rebalancing and proactively reviewing orders.Skills that You Bring:- 1-3 Years’ Experience Preferred.- Associated degree or higher in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field.- Strong attention to detail.- Good with data sets and Excel.- Must be able to develop and draft process documents for internal business practices.- Basic understanding of supply chain best practices.- Strong communication skills and logical and analytical talent are essential.- Willingness to learn.- Ability to grasp new technologies and experience in an ERP system.- High-level multi-tasking.- Creative problem-solving.- Good written and spoken English.Preferred Skills:- Experience with SAP and Oracle integrated materials/production systems (MRP).- Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.What will you bring to the team, along with your curiosity is:- Reduction inventory.- Lower stock outs.- Good interpersonal and communication skills.- Proficient in the use of ERP/MRP Systems, SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Office..
