Design Review Team Lead

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Conduct supportive and efficient Design Reviews which includes:- performing evaluations of designs at various stages of development before required meetings and compose action items accordingly- attending all required meetings- provide design solutions as necessary- review tolerance analysis- review prints and approve Engineering Change Orders- escalate major design concerns- Support and assist Product Engineers through the various gates of the Design Review Process- Contribute to continuous improvement of the Design Review Porcess and associated tracking tools- EvalauateEngineerign Chane Orders ECOs for Design Review Team approvals.- Support/assist Team Members/Product Engineers when necessary.**REQUIREMENTS, Competencies/Skills**:(indicate whether R - required or P - prefered)- Engineering degree (R) Masters or 10+ years experience (P)- Ability to read technical and project documentation (R)- Analytical thinking skills (R)- Confidence in communication and relation with co-workers (R)- Ability to provide strong reasoning and evidence to support viewpoint (R)- Ability to work autonomously; to accept risks and take accountability (R)- MS Office knowledge (R)- Team orientated and good communications skills (R)- Coaching and training skills (R)- Experience with FMEA methodology (P)- Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly process of wire harness components / assemblies (P)- Knowledge of vehicle assembly process (P)- Experience with direct customer interface (P)- Automotive industry background (P)- Mobility (occasional travel may be necessary) (P)- Presentation skills (P)**Your Benefits at Aptiv**:- Savings Fund- Pension Plan- Christmas Bonus- Attendance Bonus- Vacation Premium- Medical Expenses- Life Insurance- Cafeteria Allowance- Social security (IMSS, INFONAVIT, Retirement)- Recognition for innovation and excellence- Opportunities to give back to the communityLI-JA1Aptiv is an equal employment opportunity employer.
