***The Assistant to the Plant Director plays a vital role in supporting the Director in the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility. This individual ensures seamless administrative support, helps coordinate plant activities, assists with reporting and data analysis, and contributes to maintaining operational efficiency.**RESPONSIBILITIES**- Provide high-level administrative support to the Plant Director.- Assist in coordinating and tracking key manufacturing projects and initiatives.- Schedule and manage meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes.- Support data collection, reporting, and analysis of production metrics and KPIs.- Prepare presentations, reports, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.- Facilitate communication between departments and ensure timely follow-up on action items.- Help manage calendars, travel arrangements, and expense reporting.- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.- Assist in organizing audits, inspections, and compliance-related activities.Support lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and safety initiatives as directed.**QUALIFICATIONS**- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred- 2-4 years of administrative or operational experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with manufacturing operations, safety standards, and production processes is a plus.**PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS**- The role is primarily based in a manufacturing facility, requiring regular site visits and interaction with production teams.- Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols.- The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer.- Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visits.Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.**TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED**- None
