The Finance Controller will oversee key financial operations across multiple brands, including cash flow forecasting, AP/AR, payroll, revenue reconciliation, and reporting. What You’ll Do Cash Flow Management Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts for multiple brands. Consolidate all forecasts into a portfolio‑level (HoldCo) view, including scenario modeling. Monitor forecast vs. actual performance and proactively raise cash risks. Loans & Financing Administration Track loan balances, payments, covenants, and key compliance dates. Maintain a centralized repayment/refinance calendar. Assist with lender reporting packages as required. Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Oversee AP intake, approval workflows, and payment scheduling. Reconcile vendor payments and customer collections. Manage outstanding AR, address overdue accounts, and support collections. Payroll & Employee Onboarding Ensure payroll cycles run accurately and on time. Maintain employee compensation, reimbursements, and year‑end tax documentation. Revenue & Payout Reconciliation Conduct monthly revenue sweeps across all brands and consolidate results. Reconcile payouts across wholesale, DTC, marketplaces (Shopify, Amazon), agencies, and creator payouts. Identify and resolve expected‑vs‑received revenue discrepancies. Audit monthly 3PL invoices against shipment and receiving records, flag discrepancies or overcharges, and coordinate resolution with vendors. Reporting & Controls Prepare a monthly finance reporting package (cash, AR/AP aging, loans, reconciliations). Support variance analysis on budgets and financial performance. Help strengthen internal controls such as approval processes and expense rules. Systems, Tools & Process Improvement Improve existing workflows and financial templates (AP/AR, revenue sweeps, cash flow). Assist integration/migration of finance data into Notion or ClickUp dashboards. Collaborate with external accountants for audit‑ready and tax‑ready documentation. Produce periodic reports: weekly cash flow, monthly revenue sweep, monthly payout reconciliations, monthly 3PL audit, monthly finance packet, updated payroll and benefits records. What You Need Technical Must‑Haves 1+ year of hands‑on QuickBooks Online experience. Ability to independently prepare and consolidate multi‑entity cash flow forecasts. Experience managing a P&L, ensuring accuracy, and reviewing budget vs. actuals. Strong reconciliation skills across DTC, wholesale, and marketplace payouts. Proven AP/AR experience, including collections management. Familiarity with payroll administration and employee onboarding (Gusto preferred). Operational Experience Experience working across multiple brands or entities. Background in D2C finance – Shopify, Amazon, or similar ecosystems. Ability to perform monthly 3PL invoice audits against shipping data. Experience preparing complete monthly finance reporting packages. Behavioral & Cultural Fit Thrives in a startup or scaling environment with evolving systems. Highly proactive – flags risks early and takes initiative. Detail‑oriented and extremely organized. Comfortable with improving workflows and implementing new processes. Ability to oversee and manage a bookkeeper. Salary & Perks Full‑time, long‑term position.
