We are **Wabtec Corporation**, the **Information Technology Team**. We contribute to the overall design, development, testing, documentation, maintenance and integration of Analytics and Software Products, applied to the Process improvement and Lean practices in the Manufacturing and Supply Chain domain. This position will be supporting key operations for Wabtec sites in Mexico.**Essential Responsibilities**- Applications development/maintenance using. NET or JAVA, and SQL related databases to support IT Mexico sites.- Develop, execute and maintain key metrics to support business operations in the Global Materials Organization- Create adhoc reports from Datawarehouses to support IT MX Sites- Deskside support for basic computer day to day operations- Solve PC technical issues (basic deskside support)- Responsible for all technical documentation of the developed tool’s code/functionality.- Responsible for support, operation, and update of the developed tools during the assigned work period- Responsible of creating /optimizing existing framework of software developments with MS EXCEL (VBA), MS ACESS and.NET- Tools and Reports are generated based on SQL Datawarehouse brought into the Tools as well as user input.**Qualifications/Requirements**- Bachelor's in IT, Computer Systems, and/or related from 7th semester; at least with 1 year until graduation- Availability from Monday to Friday (8AM - 4PM)- Proactive, accurate and detail oriented- Self-paced for solutions searching on day-to-day problems- Ability to work effectively on a team- Verbal communications skills**Desired Characteristics**:- Able to fluently speak and write in English (Score 600 or higher TOEFL or equivalent)- Databases Management and Transactions with SQL - Intermediate- Web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, Angular, etc.) - Intermediate- JAVA EE (Spring, Play, Hibernate, Struts, etc) - Basic- . NET (ASP.
