Expert CISO**Location**: Mexico (Remote/Work-from-Home)We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Expert Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead our organization's information security program. As an Expert CISO, you will be responsible for establishing and executing the information security strategy, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data. This is a high-level leadership role for an individual with 10+ years of experience in information security management or a related field to make a significant impact in a remote work environment.**Responsibilities**:Develop and execute the organization's information security strategy, vision, and goals.Lead the design and implementation of information security policies, standards, and controls.Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and frameworks.Assess and manage information security risks and vulnerabilities.Oversee security incident response, investigations, and remediation efforts.Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams on security matters.Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Stay updated with emerging security technologies, threats, and best practices.Mentor and develop a high-performing security team.**Qualifications**:Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.10+ years of experience in information security management, with a focus on strategy and leadership.In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, or COBIT.Proven experience in managing complex security projects and initiatives.Strong understanding of security technologies, including SIEM, DLP, IAM, and network security.Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills.Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are required.We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, a supportive and collaborative work environment, and the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in Mexico.
