**Job Description Summary**:Job Description Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Tax Analyst to support the development and implementation of technology solutions that support the tax function of GE Vernova.Your role will involve implementing technology-driven efficiencies, streamlining tax compliance and reporting processes, and ensuring adherence to tax regulations.**Job Description**:- Assist the tax technology function, including tax software implementation, data management, and analytics, ensuring that tax systems, processes, and tools are optimized to meet our organization's tax compliance and reporting requirements.- Collaborate with other departments within the organization, including finance, accounting, and IT, to ensure accurate and timely reporting of all tax-related information.- Assist with implementation of tax technology strategies to optimize tax operations and improve efficiency and accuracy in tax reporting.- Provide guidance and training to other departments within the organization on tax technology matters.- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations related to tax technology, including data privacy and cybersecurity.- Assist with implementation of tax data management strategies to ensure the accuracy and completeness of tax-related data.- Be involved in global projects, interact with cross-functional teams within the organization.- Identify areas for process / systems improvements to ensure adequacy and function of all tax compliance programs and initiatives within technology.- Train newcomers and assist in digital upskilling across GE Vernova tax functions.- Additional tax, data and technology related tasks as needed.Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent knowledge or experience- Proven experience in tax technology, including experience in software implementation, tax automation, and data analytics.- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations- Strong project management skills.- Written and verbal fluency in English.Desired Characteristics:- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.- Experience in leading tax technology projects and teams.- Experience in implementing tax technology solutions, such as tax engines and automation tools.- Experience in data analytics and data visualization.- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).- Professional certification, such as CPA, CMA, or CITP.- Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor and coach junior staff members.- Familiarity with emerging tax technology trends and developments.- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.**Additional Information**:**Relocation Assistance Provided**:NoLI-Remote - This is a remote position
