As an Internal Audit & Controls Lead at Kellanova, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and mitigating financial risks through a strong internal control framework. Your expertise will ensure robust compliance with SOX requirements, corporate standards, and risk mitigation practices—while partnering with senior leaders to strengthen our control culture across the region.This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, lead high-impact assessments, manage control reporting, and influence strategic decisions that protect the integrity of our operations in a dynamic and collaborative environment.A Taste of What You’ll Be DoingConduct Regional Control Assessments - Perform periodic reviews of process and procedural compliance across the LA region, ensuring risks are identified early and mitigated effectively.Drive SOX Compliance - Lead execution and documentation of Key Financial Controls (KFCs), including testing and reporting deliverables in line with SOX 404 requirements.Manage Control Reporting & Analysis - Consolidate and analyze control results, provide regular updates to key stakeholders, and identify trends and areas of improvement.Oversee Remediation & Compliance - Track and follow up on action plans, ensuring timely and effective remediation of identified control deficiencies and gaps.Lead Stakeholder Engagement - Collaborate with Finance VPs, General Managers, Global Control leaders, and GBS partners to drive control awareness and compliance excellence across the region.We’re Looking for Someone WithBachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.5+ years of experience in internal controls, SOX compliance, or audit within multinational environments.Fluent English (spoken and written) is a must.Proven experience managing teams and leading through influence.Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills with high attention to detail.Working knowledge of GAAP and Microsoft Excel; SAP experience is preferred.Proactive mindset, with the ability to work across multiple countries, cultures, and time zones.What’s NextIf you join our team, you’ll be rewarded for the difference you make.
