We're looking for people like you to help make it happen.**Job Summary**:- Receives and responds to audit reports and findings in cooperation with appropriate GMA / Operations / Technical Integrity staff. Coordinates the necessary corrective/preventive actions between all departments and functions relative to accreditation and regulatory recognition.- Monitors accreditation-related legislative activities in Mexico and the LATAM region to identify potential impact on CSA and communicates this information to GMA / Commercial / Operations / Technical Integrity, as required. Reviews both active and proposed legislation, communicates internally and recommends appropriate policy and position, liaises with legislators for the purpose of obtaining formal acceptance and recognition.- Handles a narrow spectrum of certification project.- Demonstrates a good understanding of the company certification process, accreditation requirements and governing quality management procedures.- Demonstrates understanding of all elements involved in testing for specific standards (select proper tests, understand past fail criteria and rational) under supervision.- Prepares Findings Communications, Certification reports, Certificates of Compliance and other related CSA documentation.- Coordinates and delegates between CSA GMA and Operations staff, International Partners/Agencies, foreign regulators and customers as required to accomplish GMA project objectives.- Responds to customer inquiries for information on foreign certification and approvals concerning products to be exported to Mexico and LATAM. These inquiries can be related to technical as well as regulatory requirements.- Plans, directs, and coordinates designated GMA projects. Ensures that the goals of each project meet customer needs and are accomplished within the prescribed time frame, funding parameters and regulatory requirements.- Keeps up-to-date on Mexico and LATAM certification requirements. Researches and gathers information and updates on Mexico and LATAM technical requirements, government regulations, administrative guidelines and working practices and forms for foreign approvals.- Documents, reviews and updates GMA working processes and procedures so that all users of the information can provide consistent, cost effective and timely services.
