**Analyst, Credit Analysis Unit****Principal Function**:Perform credit analysis for credit requests and annual reviews for Global Banking and Markets customers**Main Responsabilities**:- Write clear and concise, forward looking and insightful credit proposals that identify key risks, propose sound mitigants and covenants and support both existing and proposed limits.- Provide analysis for group overview, Management, Industry, and Strategy, for different client types.- Interpretation and analysis of financial projections/models (by client/industry).**Requirements**:**Requeriments**:Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related fields.- Master in Finance or MBA, desirable.- 2 years of experience in Credit Risk or Company Analysis related job or Recent Graduates.- Fluent in English written and spoken.- Proficient use of Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes.Skill SetCommunication:- Oral and written ability to clearly and succinctly express complex financial information to key stakeholdersAnalytical:- Capacity to process multiple sources of information, discern critical data, and synthesize complex information.- Financial Statement analysis (no descriptive) including financial ratio/coverage calculation and interpretation.- Ability to effectively create and interpret financial projections.- Understanding of Counterparty Credit Risk and ability to provide mitigation solutions.- General knowledge of credit/treasury products, including general terms, conditions and inherent structural risks.Organization:- Effective organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.- Ability to work under pressure and respond to tight and rapidly changing deadlines.People:- Ability to effectively engage and negotiate with key stakeholders- Flexibility to adapt to quickly changing environments.- Strong inter-personal skills and the ability to effectively manage conflict and expectations.At HSBC, we expect our people to treat each other with dignity and respect, creating an inclusive culture that promotes equal opportunity.
