Materials Planning Analyst

The Materials Planning Analyst works on the holistic development and implementation of a supply chain that will produce sustained on time delivery performance, targeted customer lead time breakthroughs and optimized financial results. The Planner will ensure the Sales and Operations Planning processes efficiently achieve customer service levels.General Responsibilities- Responsible for planning production for manufacturing lines. Reviews and maintains manufacturing routings. Generates production plans and shop orders- Analyzes requirements and plans for capacity based on forecast as well as what if scenarios- Investigates and reports on potential production problems- Coordinates with production supervisors and purchasing, communicates with customer service to meet customer needs- Follow-up as required with all teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation- Analyzes requirements and plans for capacity based on forecast as well as what if scenarios- Utilizes ERP system to develop, track and maintain key metrics to monitor production performance.
