Through a respectful, inclusive and collaborative culture, a career at Flex offers the opportunity to make a difference, invest in your career growth and join our purpose - to make great products that create value and improve people’s lives.Job Summary- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a _Sr Product _Engineer _located in _Guadalajara, South Campus_._- Reporting to the Product SME, Sr Product Engineer role involves_ _responsible for receiving, analyze, clean, and customize all technical_ information/documentation_ from the customer related to his product, derived from a New Product Introduction (NPI) or a design change in order to establish all necessary processes to manufacture it by maintaining its design and performance integrity._What a typical day looks like:- _Handle product transfer and new product set up._- _Support production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scope that arise on production line._- _Suggest improvements to process to obtain improved quality and production yield._- _Solve product related problems and perform failure analysis related to product issues._- _Interact with customer and various departments on product related issues - engineering changes, new model development._- _Work with design team to resolve design related issues._- _Suggest modification to work instructions, material or product changes to ensure superior quality of products._- _Customer´s Bill of Material (BOM) analysis and structure definition for production_- _Functional Product Documentation review_- _Safety Requirements and regulations compliance identification_- _Engineering Drawings Interpretation of individual parts and assemblies._- _Request customer for drawing corrections, additions, clarification, measurements methods_- _Lead Engineering Changes Implementation_- _Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM), tolerance analysis, Design of Experiment (DOE), form-fit-function to determine failure root/cause analysis and reporting to customer_- _Provide support to supply chain to integrate parts derived from the vertical integration or localization effort_- _Provide product training to the_ manufacturing/process_ engineers for better understanding of the product._- _Request, handle and administrate golden samples, engineering samples of final product and/or piece parts_- _Establish, operate and maintain a standard method for technical information interchange with the customer to control and preserve information of NPI transferred projects_- _Analysis of customer product parts and assemblies through model files using Computer-aided Design (CAD) system_- _Analyze and determine course of action of Product Change Notification (PCN) and Manufacturing Change Order (MCO)_- _Ability to take additional responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer depending on the size and complexity of the customer product_The experience we’re looking to add to our team:- _Experience as Product Engineer_- _BA/BS or equivalent work experience_- _Knowledge with implementation engineering changes_- _Leadership in NPI implementation_- _Experience with personal management_- _Fluent English_- _NPI experience_- _Knowledge in RP (Baan, Flex flow) is also a plus_What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:- Competitive Salary.- Life & Medical insurance.- Christmas Bonus.- Food Coupons.- Saving Fund.AB53Job CategoryProduction Engineering
