Leveraging a background in product innovation, execution, and analytics, you will identify forward thinking scalable solutions, and advocate for products across the organization. PODIUM works to develop products that facilitate the planning, production, distribution, sales, and returns of Amazon Devices and other consumer electronics, guiding business leaders and partners on strategy and prioritization of company-wide investments.As a Sr. Product Manager, you will:- Identify opportunities for innovation, build and improve our systems, while enabling scale and future proofing.- Communicate and earn trust with our customers in business and technology.- Establish goals and metrics to identify opportunities and deliver success.- Define product requirements based on an intimate knowledge of customers, device business and supply chain processes.- Communicate the vision, roadmap, requirements, and initiatives through written narratives.- Work with teams across the organization, spanning various countries and time zones.- Manage backlog trade-offs to ensure the team is working on the highest priority items.A day in the lifePODIUM (Product/Program Operations/Research Data/Infrastructure/UX Management) is one of the most exciting teams in Device Operations and Supply Chain. If you’re a builder, this team affords you the opportunity to create new innovative products every day, in greenfield and mature spaces.About the teamPODIUM acts as the Single Threaded Leader (STL) for Device Operations (Device Ops), end-to-end software (internal and external), analytics (data collection and management), optimization, and customer experience (CX). Your role in the PODIUM team will include advocating for software and business solutions that eliminate existing pain-points across the business, while building scalable infrastructure to meet the challenges of tomorrow. Achieving success in this role requires PODIUM team members to build partnerships across Amazon that support Device Ops to create requirements, design compelling user experiences, provide program management, make key tradeoff decisions and ensure data accuracy.- Demonstrated results working by influencing stakeholders in a highly-matrix cross-functional organization.- Knowledge of SQL, database and reporting tools.- Sound business background, preferably working on a new software products.- Experience working in a Software Development environment, in a Supply Chain setting.- Proven ability to influence change at all levels within an organization.- Excellent verbal and written communication & data presentation skills, proved ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
