Job Description This hybrid role requires working on average 2 days per week at an HPE office. The engineer designs solutions using HPE products and services, answering technical questions and supporting presales teams in the US and Canada. Responsibilities Design solutions with HPE products (servers, storage, networking). Install and troubleshoot products. Consult customers to capture requirements and deliver proposals. Configure and quote solutions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related IT engineering programs. 2 to 5 years in technical IT roles such as IT support, delivery, software development, data analysis, or presales consulting. Experience with HPE data center systems, including servers, storage, networking (switches, routers, firewalls). Knowledge of products from Dell, Lenovo, Cisco, Oracle, Huawei, others. Installation or troubleshooting of these products. Programming languages: Java, C, C++, SQL, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Data analysis: Python, Power BI, Tableau, R. Strong English communication skills written and spoken. Strong consulting skills to capture customer requirements and preferences. Fast learner of technology concepts and understanding the purpose of technologies. Sense of urgency to manage time properly when answering customers. Great attention to detail around deliverables and process. Strong teamwork to deliver solutions and document knowledge. Desirables IT certifications issued by HPE, Dell, Lenovo, Cisco, Broadcom, Marvell, Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon AWS, CompTIA, VMware, Nutanix. IT diplomas or bootcamps offered by universities such as ITESM, UNAM, IPN, ITESO, IBERO.
