Job Title Test Engineer Sr at Plexus Corp. Purpose Statement This role is responsible for continuously improving test performance and equipment, troubleshooting complex issues, supporting equipment installation and changes, and providing technical guidance. Test engineers also play a key role in implementing and validating testing equipment and identifying best practices globally. Key Job Accountabilities Develop manufacturing solutions / provide services that are innovative, high‑quality, cost‑appropriate, and satisfy all stakeholder needs and requirements. Demonstrate effective communication through interaction with customers (internal and external) regarding project technical subject matter. Demonstrate expertise in the full Plexus manufacturing process on small to mid‑size projects. Work independently across multiple phases/processes of the manufacturing process without direction from mentors or functional management. Ensure accurate technical project documentation up to date and consistent with quality, industrial standards and change‑management procedures. Education / Experience Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or science; a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or higher is preferred. Minimum five (5) years of related experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the key job accountabilities may be considered. Other Qualifications Intermediate computer skills. Intermediate decision‑making, problem‑solving skills. Intermediate verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and statistical analysis skills; statistical process control software skills. Intermediate cross‑discipline development knowledge. Strong understanding of structured design. Ability to develop good working relationships with team members and customers. Lab tool/test/measurement equipment experience preferred.
