Join us at Qualitest- We are looking for a **Information Security Specialist (AI/ML & Sensitive Data)**to join our growing team** (Remote from Mexico or Canada).**- We are hiring a Security Specialist to join a focused team supporting a global tech giant. The role involves vulnerability triage, hands-on remediation guidance, and proactive threat modeling for systems built on sensitive data and advanced AI/ML algorithms. This is a hands-on opportunity to help shape security practices for high-impact, forward-looking technology products.**Roles and Responsibilities**- Triage and prioritize a backlog of known vulnerabilities across key technology teams.- Collaborate with development and product teams to validate, guide, and support the implementation of security mitigation.- Participate in threat modeling exercises and contribute to the design of security controls for sensitive AI/ML-based platforms.- Document and operationalize new security controls relevant to use cases in health, sustainability, and emerging tech.- Contribute to the creation of dashboards and metrics for tracking vulnerabilities and security control adoption.- Work with senior security engineers and stakeholders to align with global security standards and close control gaps.**Eligibility Criteria**- Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering, vulnerability management, or threat modeling with exposure to securing AI/ML systems platforms handling sensitive data (highly desirable).- Proficiency in interpreting security findings and working with engineers to implement remediation.- Familiarity with secure development practices, basic coding/scripting skills, and modern security tooling with strong documentation and communication skills to influence product teams and ensure secure-by-design implementations.**Why Qualitest?**- Be a part of a company who strives to support for diversity and inclusion in the workplace - we are one, we are many at Qualitest.
