**Sr. Tooling Engineer in GAC Mexicali****Unique Skills**:**Education and Experience Requirements**:- Bachelor's Degree. 7 years of experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.**Position Purpose**:Section leader.- Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:- Design tools based on Gulfstream Tool Design Manual.- Provide the necessary support to ensure manufacturing process flow in compliance with engineering requirements and quality standards, seeking continuous improvement of manufacturing processes in accordance with the goals and / or objectives of the SBU.- Work on team environment on improvements and projects.- High complexity tasks-projects.- High-performance expectation.- Coordinates the execution of tool designs, NC Programs, material procurement, Fabrication & Inspection, as the work orders requires.- Train others in critical task to achieve internal/external goals.- Select and/or Design new technologies for Assembly/Drill fixtures.Monthly Supervision.- Critical decision and solve problems, may affect company goals.- Ability to impact business.- Mature-Seniors employee supervision, Responsible of the team tasks.- Needs judgment and creativity to make changes, needs negotiation with external clients.- Analysis helps and impacts company's decision.- Analysis to make department's decision and could impact to other areas.- Lead people/ teams from different areas for projects.- Train others in administrative tasks also in Design and NC Programming to achieve internal/external goals.- Strong skills in GD&T applied to tools design, also High Level in Design of complex parts, also with knowledge on CNC Programming on machined of 3, 4 & 5 Axis.Perform other duties as assigned.Other Requirements:- Advanced English.- Assembly Fixture Design/Checker, Assembly Fixture Measurement (Laser Tracker).- Numerical control machines.- Training Matrix.**Additional Information**Requisition Number: Posting Type: ExternalDepartment: J3673-Mach RollbackCategory: OperationsPercentage of Travel: NoneShift: FirstEmployment Type: Full-timeSalary Grade:PI5Number of Openings: 1Posting End Date: custPostEndDateEqual Opportunity Employer / Individuals with Disabilities / Protected VeteransGulfstream does not provide work visa sponsorship for this position, unless the applicant is a currently sponsored Gulfstream employee.Legal Information | Site Utilities | Contacts | SitemapCopyright © 2025 Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation.
