Site Security leader is accountable for the security of assets, facilities, processes, information, employees, contractors, and visitors at BOP I, II & III.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the effective implementation of the Business Security and Crisis Management program at the site.
  • Ensuring Work Area Security.
  • Coordinating the site business continuity plan.
  • Implementing and managing the badging and access control programs.
  • Implementing and managing the site crisis management program.
  • Monitoring concerns and incident reporting, ensuring concern reports are addressed and properly closed out, and conducting initial security incident inquiries.
  • Providing accurate and timely site assessments and reports to business management and the respective EHS Manager.
  • Communicating information on site-specific security issues and incidents to senior management, GE HealthCare public relations, and local law enforcement, if necessary.
  • Leading and managing contracted site security service.
  • Complying with travel security and TAS processes.
  • Managing security protocols in GE HealthCare special events.
  • Identifying and mitigating security and crisis management vulnerabilities at the site.
  • Assuming incident command role for the incident type in coordination with EHS.
  • Conducting a site risk assessment for all three BOP sites in accordance with the GEHC physical security standards.
  • Having a working knowledge of all security systems at that site: CCTV, Intrusion detection, access controls, GE HealthCare security platforms (Lenel, Genetec).
  • Ensuring systems are monitored and performing effectively to control access to the facility and secure assets.
  • Establishing processes and procedures to quickly detect security breaches and respond to multiple threats (human, physical, and cyber).
  • Creating processes that enable security systems to provide data to support effective investigations (e.g., CCTV data storage).
  • Leading workplace violence awareness and drills.
  • Leading, coordinating & implementing/maintaining CTPAT/OEA standards for all operations.
