**Job Summary**As a Content Creator at Projects Abroad, you will be responsible for crafting engaging and informative content that drives action and inspires our audience. You will play a pivotal role in creating high-quality trip itineraries on demand, as well as managing our website, blog, and other marketing materials. Your ability to write compelling copy, understand SEO, and leverage AI tools will be essential to your success in this role.**Key Responsibilities**- Create High-Quality Trip Itineraries: Develop personalized and detailed trip itineraries on demand, tailored to the specific needs and interests of our clients.- Manage Website Content: Update and maintain our website content, ensuring it is accurate, informative, and optimized for search engines.- Develop Blog Posts: Write engaging blog posts on topics related to travel, volunteering, and cultural exchange.- Update Marketing Materials: Create and update brochures, leaflets, and other marketing materials.- Utilize AI Tools: Leverage AI tools like Bard, Gemini, and ChatGPT to generate original content and streamline the content creation process.- Conduct SEO Research: Research relevant keywords and optimize content to improve search engine visibility.- Analyze and Optimize Content: Track and analyze the performance of content, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for optimization.**Qualifications and Skills**- Excellent writing and editing skills- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices- Experience using content management systems- Proficiency in AI tools like Bard, Gemini, and ChatGPT- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills- A passion for travel and international development**Technical Skills**Right now, we use the following software. Experience of using these, or similar tools, would be useful.- CMS: Currently bespoke but moving to WordPress in 2024- CRM: Currently bespoke but moving to HubSpot in 2024- Image editing: Canva, InDesign & Premiere Pro (Adobe Creative Cloud)- Analytics & SEO: Google Analytics, Semrush, and Search Console- Google Workspace: Gmail, Docs and Sheets**Personal attributes**- Collaboration - working with others in the marketing team, and Projects Abroad, youwill be confident working with those who are more or less senior than yourself and /or located in a different country or time zone. Together you will develop and executesuccessful written content.- Curiosity - must have an active interest in writing for the web, including trends, bestpractice, and digital media more generally, such as updates to search engines,content management systems, artificial intelligence, and any new opportunities toengage our audience.- Confidence - you will understand how to write for marketing and be knowledgeableabout the role of writing in motivating action and supporting a business to succeedexternally.
