Why CompuCom? (Overview):A remote technician is required to learn and understand wide range of products and account specifics. The remote technician has to work closely with other departments when problem verifying/ solving such as logistics, level 1, service desk and tech support. Agents have to be proficient on the use of diagnostic software, network documentation, online documentation resources, and troubleshooting strategies and techniques to resolve basic hardware problems.The main purpose of a remote technician agent is to resolve problems on the first call, with minimum supervision and excellent methodical troubleshooting. A remote technician is encouraged to perform research and development of solutions to new or unknown issues to improve the company's database. Work closely with other departments when problem-solving such as logistics, level 1, service desk, and tech support.
