Director Security

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation Security at adidas ensures that the business can operate in any environment by managing the risks to people, product, premises, processes and profit, and reducing this risk to a level deemed acceptable by adidas. This directly impacts the overall strategic objectives of the company, by ensuring risk does not negatively impact achievement of business objectives. As the adidas security and safety authority within Latin America, the Regional Security & Safety Manager will be responsible for delivering and driving Corporate Security policy and standards throughout the region. The position will be the Security point of contact for multiple countries and will guide and set up process to create consistent security messaging across adidas markets. The incumbent will support the Crisis management program and will develop and oversee a continual improvement programs, ensuring market leaderships have regional support with security related matters. External collaborations will be developed to ensure that adidas has relationships and access to law enforcement and governmental organisations. Security partnerships with private security companies will supply adidas vetted providers, delivering services that consider both qualitative and quantitative needs. Key Responsibilities Drive implementation of Corporate Security policy Distribution centre security reviews and process implementation Assist development of Country policies that consider local laws and legisation Align local H&S policy with Global Health & Safety policy Risk assess market capabilities using ESRM methodology Develop local Security and safety strategy Audit existing security provision and develop security protocols that align with the Corporate Security strategy Audit existing Health & Safety provision and develop Safety protocols that align with the Health & Safety strategy Implement incident management process Develop and maintain relationships with adidas local leadership, Compliance, information security, data privacy, legal and HR departments Develop and maintain third party security partnerships Support the implementation of the 'Event Risk' policy Operational support on tier 1- 2 compliance investigations Develop and maintain partnerships with external safety auditors, assessors and investigations. Establish best-practice methodologies for incident / change / problem management Oversee major investigation operations; keen understanding of budgets, financials and measuring business value via leading-edge metrics. Supporting the Corporate Security department in all areas, including executive board visits Appropriately resolve, investigate, and document incidents that occur at adidas events and properties Key Relationships Within adidas Group Corporate Security, Compliance & Legal, Wholesale, Audit, Human resources, Info Sec, insurance, ICs, WoS & local Security teams External - Third party investigators, law enforcement, legal firms, Auditors, H&S assessors Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Security management experience with track record H&S knowledge Presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills Ability to communicate effectively with Senior Management Ability to work across teams and manage priorities to accomplish multiple tasks with conflicting deadlines Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications Degree or equivalent specialist qualification Post graduate qualification / experience in Security H&S qualification preferred Minimum of 3 years' experience in management capacity within private sector Fluent in English (written and spoken) Foreign language skills beneficial Capable of working both as a member of a team and independently with the ability to produce succinct reports Company Culture AT ADIDAS WE HAVE A WINNING CULTURE.
