We are looking for an **Application engineering technician **. This position is responsible for process, generate and make trails of drawings & bill of materials concerning a Current and new CAD projects, Also to support Customer engineering design changes, analysis Purchased and Aptiv components updating the GSD data and all the information related to them such as eWatts, eTracker, eChange/ECM, etc. The vacancy is to be positioned in Cd Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico (MTC), and will report to the Application engineer Supervisor.**Role**- Support to Application engineer to process drawings using AutoCAD tools.- Process and release Bill of materials: Components and wires charts.- Analysis and load information to the Aptiv’s data bases under the supervision of the Lead Engineer.- Support and participation of meetings with the Application engineering team and Manufacturing Plants.- Communicate Supplier Change requests from the Component Suppliers to the Application engineering team.- Follow up the Product engineering procedures.- Validate the component data for the Purchased Components.- Creation and administration of shared folders & SharePoint to document Purchased components data.- Keep updated information of Components.- Support and coordination of Component’s PPAP.**Background**:- English preferred (30% or higher).- Working with Bachelor's degree in Industrial / Electrical / Mechanical.- CAD software knowledge (30% or higher).- Experience with Wiring harnesses.- Handle Office 365 (50% or higher)- Handle PC Systems- **Nice to haves (preferred qualifications)**:- Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently.- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.**Traits we seek**- Demonstrated ability to adapt, learn continuously and meet the target dates established to complete External & Internal Customers requirements.- Embrace resilience - seeing every challenge as a learning opportunity and invitation to grow.- Multifunctional comfortable to follow up several projects at the same time from different Customers.- Supports and exemplifies Aptiv values and commitment to SAFETY, quality and cost with a great sense of ownership, teamwork, and communication with the Engineering teams.Aptiv is an equal employment opportunity employer.
