**What your background should look like**:Main Functions:- Is a process leader for assembly and kitting or other TE manufacturing processes, ensuring the processes are running at optimum levels for quality and output.- Is an expert in assembly, kitting, line balance, lay out design and process documentation.- Possesses an extensive knowledge of the associated manufacturing processes, which may include the optimization and standardization of assembly, kitting processes within the manufacturing environment.- Aligns the TE BU plants to reach TEOA requirements, rolls out CoE and Best Demonstrated Practices (BDP’s) and advises plants on duplications / corrections / improvements.- Designs and develops manufacturing process platforms and automation platforms and applies these for the realization of optimization of existing products already in production.- Possesses an extensive knowledge of applicable TE systems (MFG Pro, CAD, etc.)- Supports with the selection of the most suitable manufacturing concepts related to planned manufacturing quantities and quality requirements.- Acts as interface between engineering and manufacturing / production.- Ensures manufacturability of new designs and smooth production ramp up.- Supports research and development teams to produce sample manufacturing equipment, product samples and prototypes.Basic Requirements:- Bachelors Degree- 3-5 years of experience in the manufacturing environment- 1-2 years of experience with Autocad or Solidworks- Experience with suppliers and integrators- Experience buying tools & equipment- English**Competencies**:- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation
