**What is Travelport?**Travelport is the brains behind lots of your travel bookings. Plane, car or hotel. You name it, we do it. Our technology is used to book that magical family holiday, infamous bachelorette party or long overdue school reunion. Your internship experience promises to be a thrilling adventure into the heart of travel tech innovation**Why Travelport**:- Our offices: Amazing, new & modern Check out Torre Niba, Avenida de las Americas, GDL.- Work flexibility: We’re not gymnasts but we’re pretty flexible and hybrid working is the norm.- Career growth: Our collaborative work culture means you will never be bored offering you lots of opportunities for learning and upskilling.- Bright future: The opportunity to join us on a permanent basis at the end of your internship.- Our amazing People: Search for #TravelportGDL posts on LinkedIn to learn and see more about us.**Responsibilities include**:- Working closely with mid and senior developers to fix bugs, build new features, and improve system performance.- Write and execute SQL queries to manage and validate data.- Participating in team meetings, code reviews, and technical discussions.Documenting your work clearly and following best practices for version control (Git) and collaboration tools (such as Jira or Confluence).**Who we are looking for in this role**:- You are enrolled in the final year (expected to graduate by summer 2025) of a relevant degree program, such as Computer Science, Information Technology or Software Engineering OR you graduated no earlier than 2024.- You are familiar with Java (version 8 or higher).- Familiarity with Spring; experience with Spring Boot is a plus.- Basic understanding of REST APIs- Understanding of SQL and relational databases.- Experience using Postman or similar tools.- Basic knowledge of Git.- You have a strong understanding of software development concepts, algorithms, and data structures.- Understanding what unit tests are and writing simple test cases.- You have strong communication skills, in Spanish and English; you’re able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.You are based in Guadalajara and available to come to the office 3 days per week.**The offer**:$11,000 MX monthly for 40 hours per week**Plus the following benefits**:- Prestaciones de ley- Fondo de ahorro- Reparto de utilidades- Seguro de gastos medicos mayores- Vales de despensaComedor**The hiring process**:- ****3**rd**step**: An invitation to attend a face-to-face interview at our offices in Providencia in early June where you will have the opportunity to interview with our team and get to know us better**4**th**step**: If successful you will receive an offer from us with a view to starting in JulyIf you have any questions, get in touch
