**Supplier Application Engineer**:- **(Contrato temporal por 2 años)**_**Overall, Purpose of the Role**:Based in Mexico, the Supplier Application Engineer will be the local contact for the Global Supplier Quality. You will work with global suppliers and internal stakeholders to execute the Global Supply Chain strategy. Focusing on new supplier onboarding and project activities. You may lead supplier audits/qualifications, facilitate design transfer meetings, review FAIs/PPAPs, ensure compliance, lead supplier corrective actions (8D), and support supplier development plans where needed. Background vitreous processes are a plus.**Key Responsibilities**:**General and Task Management**- Supplier onsite project support & monitoring.- Cross-functional program management: Qualifying new components and supporting issues with current production.- Work with Supplier Quality & Business Unit Engineering teams to define process parameters and criteria to ensure supplier process capability is effective in meeting product and process requirements.- Lead the supplier approval process by assessing manufacturing/technology capabilities and Health, Safety and Environmental risks.- Point of contact between the company and its suppliers, facilitating communication, and resolving any technical or quality-related issues.- Support new product launches to ensure that supplier quality meets the required standards.- Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues.- Perform on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of correction actions of supplier quality issues- Collecting and analyzing quality data from suppliers, generating reports, and providing feedback to senior management.- Provide concise, complete and accurate documentation of inspection results relative to area of responsibility. In appropriate functional areas, this refers to supporting inspection and test status requirements defined by regulations, engineering product specifications or Control Plans, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) approval or product warrant submission.- Facilitate the escalation of unresolved supplier quality issues within assigned projects and suppliers- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration and ensure a reliable supply chain.**Skills & Attributes**:- **Experience in ceramic processes for bathrooms and sinks.**:- **Advanced English.**:- Strong knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)- Working knowledge of Quality (ISO9001), Safety (ISO45001/OHSAS18001) and Environmental (ISO14001)- Working knowledge of measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, CMMs) along with gauge R & R- Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings and tolerance.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSueldo: Hasta $50,000.00 al mesPregunta(s) de postulación:- ¿Cuenta con experiência en procesos ceramicos para baños y lavabos?
