Performance Testing Engineer

Position Type : Full Time Salary Range : $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 Salary/month Description Performance Test Engineer Position Title: Performance Test Engineer Reports To: Team Lead Job Type: Full-time, Salary Office: Mexico, remote Overview: As the Performance Test Engineer you will be accountable for creating, executing, and enhancing our load automation framework solution to support One Inc.'s developed products. Your ability to collaborate with software engineers, quality analysts, technical writers, product owners, and other quality engineers within an agile team setting is crucial. Additionally, you should have expertise in quality engineer principles and standards. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership in building out performance testing strategy, plan and frameworks based on a specific set of guiding principles, standards and best practices Provide guidance to cross functional teams set automation standards and govern compliance around those standards Provide analysis for applications and architecture in production and conduct system performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity and scalability Establish and manage quality gates for product releases based on product SLA Work with continuous integration team to integrate the automated testing into our daily development process and deployment pipeline Design and maintain workload model Design and develop testing frameworks based on the specified recommendations Drive Performance Testing Framework governance and adoption Suggest new tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency Qualifications Skills: You have a Bachelor’s degree (Automation, Computer Science, or related field) or equivalent work experience; Able to read/write and speak in English (all written & verbal communications will be in English); You have at least 3 years of experience with performance testing tools such as Jmeter; Development skills in Java/Groovy/C# or any other suitable language for developing JMeter scripts and creating Mock services; Experience with tools for collecting and visualizing metrics (InfluxDB, Telegraph, Grafana, Prometheus and the like); Knowledge of data transfer protocols and architecture of systems built on ASP.NET, C#, MS SQL, IIS, Windows Service; Understanding and experience with REST and SOAP standards; Be able to analyze SQL plans, test for performance and optimize SQL queries; Ability to identify bottlenecks in the architecture (CPU, Disk, Network, Database); Experience in automating performance testing using TeamCity, Octopus, Powershell or equivalents; You pay great attention to detail to report bugs or performance degradations to developers and other team members.
