CSIT combines global expertise and technology to help keep us ahead of the competition.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.**Main Activities**- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver seamless mobile experiences- Integrate with backend services hosted on GCP using RESTful APIs, Firebase, or GraphQL, third-party services etc- Implement intuitive user interfaces and ensure optimal performance across a range of Android devices.- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration processes.- Ensure security and compliance standards are met in all mobile solutions.- Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and best practices.- Contribute to agile ceremonies and sprint planning as part of a collaborative development team.- Implement AI-driven features such as personalized recommendations, voice assistants, and contextual navigation.Requirements- 1.3+ years of experience in Kotlin and/or Java for Android development.- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java for Android development.- Experience integrating with cloud services, preferably GCP (Firebase, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub).- Experience with Android SDK, Jetpack components, and modern architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture).- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and mobile app integration with backend services.- Familiarity with AI/ML integration in mobile apps (e.g., Core ML, NLP, recommendation engines).- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for Android (e.g., Fastlane, GitHub Actions).- Experience with mobile analytics and performance monitoring tools.- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.**Competencies**:- Teamwork- Effective Communication- Goal Orientation- Conflict Management- Analytical ThinkingAt HSBC we offer our colleagues a greater number of leave days so that they can fully enjoy their wedding, take care of the new member of the family, or grieve the loss of a family member.
