**Job Description Summary**:Responsible for Navigation and Guidance User Interface team operations and development needs related to the team’s interaction in a global environment by achieving technical growth, ownership of User Interface related activities for the Next Generation FMS under a Product Line Engineering schema. Also, responsible for executing business plans, providing, and maintaining compliance in development, technical, regulatory, and human resources related processes and documentation. Committed to building highly effective teams.**Roles and Responsibilities**- Major Team Management - Collaborate in the definition of the team's vision and strategy and their execution. Lead and monitor team progress; plan, manage and optimize team resources. Execute the planning, financial, resources development, technical and compliance observation.- Lean Human Development - decide, along upper management, the definition and selection of personnel profiles, define team member roles and requirements. Own Talent Review sessions and salary planning. Perform performance appraisals, feedback sessions, reviews, and individual learning plans. Provide coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities to direct reports.- Technical Contribution - Lead the execution and assessment of engineering activities to meet project needs. Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies.- Quality - Ensure quality of deliverables, quality management Systems, responsible of the alignment with the GEIQ Quality Management System.- Responsible for the correct management and execution of projects/activities developed in the team. Define execution plans based on projects scope, expected timeline and available budget/resources. Manage projects risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the software development lifecycle.- Champion a culture of continuous improvement in the team to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and cost, driving the organizational culture to a Lean Transformation.- Global interaction with cross-functional counterparts and strategists. Able to collaborate in areas related to work and to assure compliance with the requirements of the technology/process that he/she is responsible for.- Execute the implementation of the Compliance plan and activities.- Demonstrate ability to navigate through a VUCA environment.**Required Qualifications**- Software/Electronics Bachelor's Degree.- Solid contributions in a similar role or previous position (LPB Engineer).- Demonstrated solid technical skills and experience aligned with the team’s scope. Strong Technical contributions to the team and to the project.- Proven experience in Aviation Business Model (Talent Review and Salary Planning).- Demonstrated Project Management Skills or the ability to document, plan, execute, control, close and manage programs, projects, activities, or systems.- Demonstrated solid soft skills embracing a culture of respect that values inclusive teams, embracing candor and contributing to team member´s development in a constructive way.**Desired Characteristics**- Understanding of RTCA’s DO-178 standard.- Working knowledge of AS9100 quality standard.- Proven ability to connect with individuals, engage and align efforts to customers and business priorities.**Additional Information**:**Relocation Assistance Provided**:No
