**Position Summary**:Under minimum supervision, develop the product strategy to support sales and business development teams at Mitsubishi Electric Automation (PLC and HMI) products in Mexico and Hispanic Latin America territory. Travel assigned territory, as needed to call on key and target customers seeking new projects, developing & maintaining long term relationships. Direct the product strategy efforts for local distributors, system integrators, OEM and End Users to meet MEAU’s short- & long-term goals.**Position Duties and Responsibilities**:Activity & Essential Function Identification- Develop product spec-in within end users according to vertical Markets, regions and their needs.- Develop, implement, and follow up strategy to grow sales of the product portfolio (PLC and HMI), including forecasting, stock and support pricing management.- Analyze the market and competitive landscape of PLC and HMI products management, including established and emergent players (competitors); monitor market research, track emerging trends and automation market, emerging trends consider if incorporated in our solution where it could create competitive advantage- Developing influential relationships at key specifying engineers within the customer and persuading them to incorporate Mitsubishi Electric PLC and HMI in their designs and bid documents.- Proactive sales support, conduct commercial training and consultation of sales / BD team and project execution department- Support MarCom, participation in fairs, customer events and seminars- Develop, update, and manage of product sales tools (demo kits, reference lists, presentations, booklets, product catalogues, etc.)- Contribute on DSP elaboration and implementation with each Channel Partner for PLC and HMI.- Plan and lead joint sales calls to direct accounts and Channel Partners per DSP, seeking new opportunities and maintaining customer relations.- Attain monthly and yearly product sales goals established by management.- Represent Mitsubishi in a professional, ethical, and socially responsible manner with customers.- Successfully build relationships (internal and external) with customers to achieve assigned sales and corporate goals for Mitsubishi Electric Automation.- Document activities in CRM and complete reporting timely.- Forecast monthly and annual business plan showing projected sales and quotas.- Perform other duties as assigned.**Supervisory / Management Responsibilities**:- No direct reports.**Travel Requirements**:- 50% travel based on customer demand, primarily within Mexico and Hispanic Latin America.**Essential Education, Skills and Experience**- B.S. Degree in Electronic, Mechatronics, Automation and Control Engineering/ equivalent.- 5+ years of hands-on product management.- Proven track record of launching products and solutions.- Applied experience with product management skills - pricing, market and competitive analysis, strategic planning- Excellent organizational, prioritization and time management skills, travel in territory- Strong leadership, project planning and execution skills- Solid written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills, bi-lingual in English & Spanish required.- Computer proficiency - knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).- Salesforce experience desired.**Beneficial Education, Skills and Experience**- Control architecture diagram,- Interface programming,- Third party programming software (TIA Portal, Factory Talk, Sysmac, ie)- Strategic thinking,- Good communicator- Business innovation driven- Creative and problem solving- Analytic**Required Skills**:Required Experience
