Job Title / Role GCP & GKE - Sr Cloud Engineer Location Mexico, México (MX-MEX), Mexico (MX) Job Description NTT DATA is seeking a senior cloud engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform to design, build, and manage cloud solutions, primarily in GCP and GKE. The role involves leading cloud transformation programs, optimizing costs, ensuring security, and provisioning infrastructure through IaC. Responsibilities Assess, design, and implement GCP solutions covering compute, network, storage, identity, security, disaster recovery, migration, templates, and cost optimization. Lead large‑scale cloud transformation programs: discovery, assessment, business case creation, design, build, migration planning, and execution. Use IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Cloud SDK, PowerShell) to create and provision compute instances and databases. Implement and manage cost and performance monitoring, including Stackdriver. Provision and maintain IAM users and permissions on Google IAM. Configure VPN, Interconnect, HA environments, and cloud storage retention policies. Administer GKE clusters: install tools, configure pods and containers, monitor, log, debug, schedule jobs, extend kubectl with plugins, manage DaemonSets, HugePages, and GPU scheduling. Qualifications Minimum 4+ years of GCP experience; 6+ years total cloud experience. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent (B. Tech / MCA). GCP Solution Architect Certification and GCP Engineer & GKE certification. ITIL based service delivery knowledge; ITIL certification desired. Strong communication skills and ability to work with global customers. Experience with Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub. Knowledge of security and quality processes. Self‑driven ownership of technical issues and stakeholder engagement. Flexibility to learn other public and private cloud technologies.
