Providing timelyproject decisions and identifying critical paths in order to establish prioritized actions3 Ensuring that the project targets are being achieved or overachieved simultaneously or with the priority toselected dimension(s). Be able to focus on the most relevant deliverables (e.g. Functional Safetyrequirements)4 Knowing the Hella-standards, processes, methods and tools in the field of project management, and being5 Defining, planning, coordinating and monitoring project maturity, internal tasks / work packages within theproduction team by using predefined methods and tools and HELLA standards6 Actively identifying claims potential resulting from engineering changes. Maintaining a valid status onengineering changes (e.g. change requests) with regards to their effects on the project targets7 Understanding and knowing the product specifications and manufacturing process to the extent that theybuild a basis for profound decisions for the project manager to manage his project. Reflecting the effectsof the decisions on the other departments (e.g. Operations, Purchasing) within Hella. Evaluation ofeconomic and production engineering consequences regarding necessary changes8 Defining members of the extended production team with the help of the functional departments andmoderating the production team incl. conflict resolution with functional departments9 Coordinating the bidding process and supporting and realization of make or buy decisions10 Monitoring the implementation of all defined SipCo actions (manufacturing costs: iPC vs. ACT)11 Ensuring agreed global standards get accomplished12 Active participation at the selection of production processes with development team and process expertsas well as steering and executing in the development of production methods taking the market developmentfor production systems into account and check new systems for their suitability and applicability as set byHella specific constrains and legal requirements13 Guide and advice the development responsible concerning production related options / and improvementsat new developments and modifications of products with regard to optimum cost and quality14 Steering and executing in the selection of appropriate production processes with the process experts anddevelopment team and proactively suggest the best processes for the product15 Ensure that the planning of production flows, production layouts and production equipment underconsideration of needed / available capacities is done by the manufacturing engineer under considerationof cost, quality and due dates. Ensure that the specification requirements are drawn up16 Ensure the procurement of production equipment (evaluation of quotations, technical discussion withpotential suppliers, preparation of supplier decision and ordering, control progress during constructionphase)17 Ensure that the P-FMEA is created and that the assessment of the risks is done properly, and introductionof sustainable improvements is secured18 Ensure that the pre-acceptance, set-up of production equipment and final acceptance of productionequipment is done according to the defined
