Overview Global IMS Project Engineer Objective: Responsible for ensuring compliance with installation timing in the IMS Projects and supporting the operation during the learning curve in the new launching programs, and complying with the validation protocol for equipment delivery. Main Responsibilities Assure the installation of the projects assigned in the technical center on time. Coordinate with the core team involved in the project to ensure compliance with safety rules and procedures. Coordinate tasks and activities with different departments during project execution, negotiating agendas according to business priorities with involved stakeholders, including the plant. Coordinate the validation phase to establish testing protocols to meet the requirements of: 20 Hours Dry Runs and 8 hrs on production. Responsible for developing the installation plan in coordination with the Manufacturing Teams. Define and request all external services during the installation; this includes vendor relations and contractors when needed. Coordinate with the HSE team to define procedures and safety protocols during project installation, escalating non-compliance situations when applicable. Ensure the work area (5S) on the shop floor. Prepare machine safety checklist validation to assure HSE compliance, not only when designing, developing and installing, but also afterwards ensuring the plant has the resources to use the machinery and their processes safely. Monitor the progress of tasks vs plan to take actions, such as negotiation, escalations, and conflict resolution. Coordinate external service suppliers to develop IMS projects. Position Requirements Bachelor’s in Mecatronic, Automation, Electric or similar required. Minimum 4 years of experience in Manufacturing Solutions, Maintenance, Projects or Installations. English intermediate required. Soft Skills: Planning, Organizing. Functional Competencies: Pneumatic & Hydraulic, Layouts and Installation, Robotics, PLCs.
