Process Improvement Manager

As a Product Manager for John Deere in the Regional Office unit in Indaiatuba/SP, you will be responsible for enabling data availability, discoverability, and usability of John Deere Financial data for consumption by digital products and analytics insights generation for US and Canada Data Products. You will make decisions on product features and functionality and ensure features definition, acceptance criteria, and stories, clearly communicating with customer & stakeholder needs to the team.
Key Responsibilities• Understand key business objectives and strategy of the data product(s). Works with business owners to ensure that they are engaged and supportive of direction;
• Make final decisions on product functionality and ensure that functionality is aligned with strategic vision for the products family;
• Maintain and refine product backlog, measure and communicate objectives and key results for product functionality.
• Ensure features definition, acceptance criteria, and stories clearly communicating customer/stakeholder needs to the team, working with them to clarify as necessary;
• Understand and support inter-team dependencies and impediments and escalate issues when necessary;
• Accountable for determining release date, scope of release and communication strategy. Monitor and communicate the key success metrics of the product;
• Ensure an exceptional product experience, collect inputs from customers, market research while collaborating with UX, architecture and engineering resources;
• Participate in team events (e.g., daily stand-up, sprint planning, sprint review, sprint demos);
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Data & Analytics, Information Technology, or equivalent discipline;
• Fluent English;
• Understanding of data lake construction, data warehouses, data marts, business processes and value from data products;
• Experience in developing productive working relationships with users/stakeholders & engineering teams;
• Experience in dedicated approaches to collaboration with other product teams, key stakeholders, and enterprise stakeholders;
• Understanding of user needs and use those to collaboratively build and refine product roadmap;
• Experience in Data-driven work, to create a prioritized stacked rank list of features;
• Experience in authoring technical user stories for the engineering (development) team;
• Experience in conceptualizing scalable data solutions that address product opportunities and problems;
• Experience in usage of Agile development methodologies and tools;
• Experience working with Lending Data (Customer Lending Applications, Collection Processes, Account Management);
• Experience working as an analytics practitioner with an understanding of analytics tools & technology stack;
• Understanding of regional regulations and compliance needs applicable to data environments in financial services;
• Good understanding of software development practices;
