Senior Consultant- Applications Administrator

We are dedicated to helping Higher Ed thrive by transforming their institutions to agile, digitally connected campuses that enable student success.About the Opportunity:**Where you will make an impact**- Provides technical assistance and performs troubleshooting to resolve user issues by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about related ERP Enterprise Applications.- Develops and maintains plans outlining steps and timetables for projects related to upgrades and implementations of new products and/or functionalities.- Scripts and/or automates common repeatable tasks across the spectrum of supported products and technologies.- All members of the team are expected to participate in our on-call process (24/7 production support).- Interacts with the customer and other consultants.- Monitors, tracks, and reports project risks, issues, milestones and work completed, as well as work that is underway. Provides leadership for the customer enabling them to stay on time and on task.- Creates and maintains documentation that describes programs, operating procedures, and installations including but not limited to: internal knowledge base, solutions and project updates.- Publish, improve and maintain technical documentation along with processes and proceduresEngage in continuous learning and adoption of new concepts, technologies and problem-solving techniques.- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and self-starter attitude.- Other duties as assigned.**What you will bring**- Degree from College or university in Computer Science/Engineering or related field; minimum three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Tomcat, Apache, Oracle Weblogic, Microsoft IIS, Microsoft Sharepoint Administration- Experience or knowledge of the following is important:- Unix/Linux server administration- Microsoft server administration- Unix/Linux/Microsoft basic command line knowledge- Scripting shell and/or powershell- Experience with certificate and keystore management (openssl/keytool)- Knowledge of LDAP and SSL setup and configuration- Knowledge and/or experience of Identity Access Management (IAM)- Ability to work effectively with end-users and teammates, to gain their confidence, to understand their technical and operational needs and translate them into viable technical solutions- Work independently and multitask, prioritize tasks, and execute without constant supervision- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills- Workflow automation of common repeatable tasks- Knowledge Management- Global capability/compliance- Fluency in English is critical- Desired Experience and Knowledge:- Experience with SharePoint is a plus.- Experience in databases such as SQL Server and Oracle will be beneficial.Experience as consultant supporting multiple customersWhat makes #Ellucianlife:- Comprehensive health coverage: family major medical expenses, dental and life insurance.- Christmas bonus 30 days- Saving fund- Monthly food coupon- 15 workdays vacation- Thrive Flex Program that allows you to contribute towards your health, financial or learning interests- 5 charitable days to support the community that supports us- Diversity and inclusion programs that promote employee resource groups such as: Women in Technology, Pride and Go Green to name a few.- Parental leave- Employee referral bonuses to encourage the addition of great new people to the team- We Foster a learning culture with:- Tuition Reimbursement Assistance- Professional development opportunitiesLI-RB1LI-Remote
