Position SummaryMaintain, troubleshoot and repair ship's Engine Room Equipment.- Duties & Responsibilities- Lubricate moving components of the engines and auxiliary equipment.- Monitor and control indicators and gauges of temperature, pressure, condition of the systems, oil levels, etc.- Take part in specific mechanical operations, such as transferring oil, fuel and other fluids.- Assist in general maintenance in the engine room.- Qualifications- Holder of a valid USA C1/D or B1/OCS USA VISA.- Holder of a valid COC STCW III/4 Rating forming part of an Engineering Watch or III/5 Able Seafarer Engine- Holder of valid STCW Certification.Availability for the first week of April.
