It can also follow the project on a broader scope to ensure proper scale-up and commercialization processes, it closely interacts with SMEs to provide 360° and agile solution to technical challenges.- The R&D Product Developer should be an agile learner and avid result seeker that leverages in its own knowledge but also in a broader network to deliver high-quality work in an efficient way.- Creates formula drafts with special attention to dairy and plant-based balances and ingredient interactions- Makes sure to comply with protocols and guidelines.- Provides insight and guidance on risk and mitigations- Creates project records.- Execute preliminary costs of formulations promoting an efficiency-by design development- Pursues an inclusive mindset (open to hearing and working on new ideas)- Design, execute and leads the production of beverage prototypes (from benchtop work to industrial trials)- Reports back his work with good quality complying to the highest standards- Eager to keep on learning and sharing knowledge- Interacts with multifunctional and multicultural team members to drive projects ahead.- Good knowledge on pilot plant experimentation.- Autonomously leads plant trials and startup runs.- Provide guidance to Junior Product Developers**Work Focus**- Make sure projects and tasks are delivered according to agreed timelines and with the expected quality.- Helps identifying key risk and mitigation strategies.- Brings relevant product development experience to solve challenges.- Creates and contributes to a collaborative network relationships- Guide and coach junior developers- Effectively communicate progress to R&D stakeholders.**Qualification & Requirements**- Bachelor's Degree in food engineering, Food Science, Biotechnology, Food Chemistry or similar.- 5 years of relevant industry experience, and at least 3 years of product development experience in the dairy industry (desirable plant-based too).- It is desired to hold experience in multidisciplinary R&D work (process development, food safety, other categories, etc).- Able to work through a problem, comfortable with iterations and figuring out new solutions**KEY Knowledge**:- Solid Dairy and Plant Based science knowledge- Solid knowledge in food processing (especially dairy and plant based)- General knowledge on business acumen- General knowledge on design thinking- General knowledge on flavor science- Proven multifunctional teamwork- Solid knowledge on ingredient-process interactions and should be able to plan basic experiments at benchtop and pilot level- Pilot trials design and experimentation- Basic knowledge on food safety- Basic knowledge on sensory- Risk assessment knowledge- Basic nutrition labeling knowledge- Fluent English is required**Good to have**:- Statistics and DoE- Industrial plant experience- People Manager / Coac**What We Can Do For You.**- Purpose Driven: Purpose driven approach that empowers our people to protect the environment and communities we serve while delivering safe & quality products.- Global Connections: Allows you to develop, enhance and maintain global connections that allow us to move faster and learn from others.- Community of Belonging: We’re an organization that believes our ability to continually grow and build the right atmosphere where people feel safe and empowered, lets you bring your best self to work.**Our Purpose and Growth Culture**:We are taking deliberate action to nurture an inclusive culture that is grounded in our company purpose, to refresh the world and make a difference.
