**ABOUT COVER DESK**:Cover Desk celebrates five years in the industry of helping virtual assistants’ pair with independent insurance agencies to help them grow, thrive, and support their agency. We offer insurance agencies access to highly educated and talented virtual assistants in Monterrey, Mexico.**JOB SCOPE**:As an ambassador to Cover Desk Mexico, you will represent and support our company in Monterrey. We employee Virtual Assistants and require IT support to set up and troubleshoot laptop computers. The IT consultant will need to troubleshoot computer issues, help with the PC so that it works on our corporate network and assist with some software configuration. IT consultant will need to be able to travel to our office in San Pedro area or to the employee’s home to setup and/or troubleshoot the PC.- Provides a basic level of technical support and assistance- Can communicate with the end-users/employees on the phone, in person, and remotely- Can answer basic technical queries on issues and advise on possible resolutions.- Troubleshooting minor IT issues both software and hardware- Collaborating with IT professionals to determine technical solutions- Determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided by out employees- Has customer service skills and patience in dealing with difficult technical issues- Preparing and configuring new computers to company standard setup.**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:- College degree and/or 3 years of work experience; preferably in Information Technology- Spirited to work as a team-player and will directly report to leadership in the United States- Proven experience as a Helpdesk Technician and willing to work outside of typical business hours to support the business- Proven experience in a customer support role- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other network devices- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.Cover Desk Mexico located in Monterrey, Mexico has a team of Virtual Assistants that support US insurance agencies.
