RESPONSIBILITIES- 5+ years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the MRO industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for MRO materials, supplies, and services to support the operations of the company.- Lead a team of buyers and provide guidance on procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.- Evaluate supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.- Monitor inventory levels and adjust orders as needed to meet demand.- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.- Continuously evaluate and improve the procurement process to increase efficiency and reduce costs.- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement procurement best practices.QUALIFICATIONS- Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
