Construction Accountant

Our Construction Accountant supports the Accountancy Team and our property management efforts. A ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness/aptitude to learn new skills are required. All team members can expect to learn all aspects of property management. You will receive training in all areas and ultimately be responsible for your accountancy tasks.**Responsibilities**:- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger account reconciliations for all accounts.- Prepare monthly journal entries.- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.- Assist in preparing and filing monthly and quarterly state sales taxes.- Assist with financial statement preparation for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including consolidations.- Assist with the annual external audit.- Work with AR, AP, and other departments as needed to resolve issues.**Requirements**:- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- Proficient in Excel.- Proficient in QuickBooks and other accounting software.- Ability to multitask.- Easy to make decisions and communicate them as a leader.- Be the kind of individual that your team can count on.- Self-motivated to continuously learn.**WARNINGS**:- NO TEMPORARY workers.- NO working for another company at the same time.- NO hiring subs to do what we hired you to do.- We terminate immediately due to these violations.- Working hours from Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.Citiside Properties is a property management company specializing in managing properties for investors that have portfolios of homes and/or multi-unit apartments that need offsite management.
