Amazon is looking to hire an experienced, innovative, hands‑on, and customer‑obsessed Project Engineer that can drive innovation, standardization and expansion in our network. As a member of the Italian Amazon Engineering team you will be responsible for implementing, optimizing and designing Building Infrastructure, Material Handling Equipment and Processes of our existing and future Logistics network. Responsibilities Support project on expanding our Network in Italy Review existing installations to facilitate the design and integration of additions Provide detailed analysis and planning of new Material Handling solutions and components Support project on new concepts for Material Handling solutions Prepare specifications and technical detail to fully define the requirements on equipment, material, process and services Provide technical documentation such as Buildings layouts, flow diagrams, conveyor and equipment layouts, installation details, schedules and budgets. Support launch of new sites Active involvement in cross‑functional infrastructure projects Provide value engineering/ value analysis Ensures adherence to all Health & Safety procedures. Be proactive in the raising of potential H&S issues and the development of personal safety awareness A Day in the Life Every morning, the day starts with a review of site key transportation metrics – the lifeblood of our operations: Safety Yard Events and On Time Departure (OTD). OTD, the critical measure of how efficiently we’re moving packages through our network. After that you will be ready to go into the Gemba Walk and Daily Dive Deep Meetings in your site. As a TAM professional, you'll play a pivotal role in driving Amazon's logistics evolution – shaping the way goods move, empowering our people, and delivering exceptional experiences for our customers. Our team captures data and uses it to drive decisions. They are key to making Amazon more innovative and efficient. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience 3+ years of employee and performance management experience Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. #J-18808-Ljbffr
