The company focuses on cross-cultural excellence to empower businesses to focus on expansion and growth.**About the role**:We are seeking a **Business Intelligence / Power BI Developer** who thrives at the intersection of data modeling, visual storytelling, and performance tuning.This role is ideal for someone with a passion for building impactful dashboards and reports, who also understands how to manage and optimize the data structures that power them.**What You’ll Do**- Design and build compelling, interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for internal stakeholders and external customers- Develop using both Direct Query and Import models, understanding performance trade-offs- Create data models, define measures and KPIs, and ensure consistent semantic layers- Optimize report performance through DAX calculations, model simplification, and query tuning- Use Power BI Service for workspace management, scheduled refreshes, row-level security (RLS), and sharing/publishing reports- Collaborate with business users to understand data visualization needs and deliver impactful analytical experiences- Create, refactor, and maintain stored procedures, views, functions, and complex T-SQL queries- Optimize queries and execution plans to ensure responsive reporting and dashboard performance- Participate in data audits and quality checks to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity- Collaborate with DBAs and DevOps engineers to monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data pipeline health**Core Technologies & Tools**- Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL Managed Instance- Power BI Desktop & Power BI Service- T-SQL, DAX, M Query (Power Query)- Azure Data Gateway, Power BI Embedded (a plus)- Excel for ad-hoc analysis and prototyping- Azure DevOps for work tracking and collaboration**Required Skills & Qualifications**- 5+ years of experience with Power BI development- 5+ years of experience writing advanced T-SQL (procedures, views, joins, performance tuning)- Understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, snowflake schema, denormalization)- Strong skills in DAX and Power Query for calculated columns, measures, and data transformations- Ability to troubleshoot Power BI report performance and implement improvements- Excellent attention to detail with strong documentation, organization, and communication skills**What We Offer**:- Competitive **base salary (45k - 65k gross)**:- Full **law benefits (15 days of Christmas bonus if you have less than a year, 20 days of Christman bonus at year, 37.5% instead of 25% of vacation bonus)**:- **Punctuality** and **attendance bonus of $2,200 MXN**:- **Excellence**bonus of $1,000 MXN- **Private minor medical insurance**Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSueldo: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 al mesBeneficios:- Días de maternidad superiores a los de la ley- Días de paternidad superiores a los de la ley- Seguro de gastos médicosPago complementario:- Bono de asistencia- Bono de puntualidadTipo de jornada:- Lunes a viernesPregunta(s) de postulación:- How many years of experience do you building reports and data modeling with Power BI ?- Are you comfortable working in an onsite setting?- What's your salary expectation in mexican pesos and gross wisely?Idioma:- Inglés (B2 - C1) (Deseable)Lugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
