The Accounting Assistant is responsible for supporting the company's accounting management, reviewing and generating accounting reports for the generation and integration of working papers, providing follow-up support for processes related to tax calculations, and supporting the review of tax documents under the supervision of the General Accountant. This role is key to ensuring the timely delivery of information on the date determined by the authority for the closing of audits.Duties:- Cross-reference information (income, expenses, withholdings, CFDI).- File and store documentation (digital and physical).- Bank reconciliations.- Accounting account cleanup.- Recording and reviewing transactions.- Integration of digital document archives.- Support with tax compliance.- Support with external audits.- Periodic review of the tax mailbox and requesting compliance opinions.- Submitting invoice cancellation requests to Accounts Payable.- Billing support with invoice completion.- Support with reviewing and preparing payment supplements.- Supporting annual returns for the integration of working papers.- Completing monthly federal tax returns on the SAT portal.- Preparing administrative reports.- Submitting and generating reports for accounting closings.- Preparing working papers, loss depreciation, and amortization.Requirements:- Minimum education: Higher education - Bachelor's degree or having worked in a company or office as an accounting assistant since the 8th semester.- 1-2 years of experience- Languages: Spanish; English is a non-mandatory additional requirement.- Age: 19 years and older- Knowledge: Basic knowledge of General Accounting, handling of the various Income Tax Laws, VAT, Annex 20, and the SAT Platform; knowledge of preparing invoices, credit notes, and payment supplements, as well as their correct completion.- Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook; knowledge of an ERP or accounting program; downloading CFDI forms and metadata;- Ability to communicate, organize, and maintain.Do Well, Be Well- Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance coverage- Mental and Nutritional health resources- Over $2 million invested annually in professional growth and development tools- Free access to LinkedIn Learning to grow in your profession and gain new skills- 15 Paid Time Off days first year- Home office bonus- 3 paid Community Service Days annually- Employee´s lead Cultural Inclusive Teams- Casual Office dress code- Pet friendly Office- Important Notice to US Applicants:_- Coyote is an at-will employer.
