Position Mexico City, Mexico - Full time Company inDrive is an international ride‑hailing service headquartered in Mountain View, CA. We create a global high‑tech product that changes the lives of millions of people worldwide. We are among the top 3 mobile services for ordering rides – 150 million installations, 1 billion trips, 700+ cities in 47 countries. Role Overview Government Relations Specialist, based in Mexico City, responsible for coordinating the company’s interaction with public authorities in Mexico. What you will do Prepare and execute licensing plans for all inDrive business branches in Mexico. Coordinate interaction with public authorities, strengthen dialogue with officials, build and manage strategic relationships, and advocate inDrive values to government officials. Establish channels for inDrive executives to communicate strategy and partnerships with senior federal, state, and city decision makers in Mexico. Organize and support high‑level engagement opportunities, including executive meetings with ministry officials and IT forums, and engagement with leaders of state and city government bodies. Analyze the political situation in key Mexican regions for inDrive business, inform management and other units of changes, and prepare action plans for potential impacts on operations. Participate in workshops and conferences related to the regulation of inDrive business. Engage in Class Associations, create reports, and propose discussion items to other members. Provide regular reports on planned and ongoing activities, results achieved, and exchange experiences with other divisions. Prepare letters, appeals, inquiries, and other materials for state authorities and business associations. Monitor political issues at the federal, state, and municipal levels. What we expect from you 3–4 years of legal experience, preferably in government relations or a related field. Bachelor or postgraduate degree in law, international affairs, business administration, or political science. Expert knowledge of Mexico’s governmental and legal systems. Proficiency in English. Experience in government relations for commercial companies is an advantage. Understanding of legislative, regulatory, policymaking, and political processes. Ability to research policy and political issues and synthesize and summarize information. Availability for business trips. Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and presentation skills. Self‑directed, self‑motivated, and proactive. Project management skills and ability to work independently. Selection Process Resumes will be considered within 14 calendar days after receipt.
